We bought this toaster about two months ago, after much research. Our old one was a simple, I've never really wanted a "convection" toaster, but I decided to give it a chance because I thought it would save energy when baking. It actually makes a very quick job that much more effective than the regular oven, we used previously. I used the chicken only once so far and it works well. Toast-R-Oven 4-Slice Toaster Oven Broiler

Black & Decker CTO4500S 6-Slice CounterTop Convection Oven with Pizza Bump, Stainless Steel
Like most reviewers, I have had many toaster ovens over the years. I usually do not have time to review, but thought I had some unique insight into this model.
The good: It looks beautiful and fits my stainless steel kitchen. The quartz heating tubes to throw a lot of infrared light, and B & D's Infra-Wave product. Heater guards do a good job of keeping food, but still let light shine through. I like the funky metal arms to pull out the drawer. Yes, they look silly, but they pull out the drawer when it is hot, do not prevent you from taking it and pulling it out completely, and they work in all situations. I've tried all the food program, and it does a good job.
The bad: Basically, no new toaster ovens matches they used to be, and I guess this is due to liability issues, and price pressure. My previous toaster had a temperature sensor in toaster mode, while this one uses only time. Toaster fashion in this model is just the oven to 450 with convection fan. The toast comes out well, but you do not have the fine level of control that the older the temperature sensor wheel had, so that you can not just go away and come back when it dings. In addition, heats the toaster only to 450 degrees, while my ex went to 500, and I could trick them to get even hotter for the steaks (press the Toast button in the oven mode). This is probably due to the nonstick coating of the cavity, which is only good to 450 My old furnace was self-clean interior, good for 800 + degrees.
A tone - some reviewers complained that the convection fan is not activated in the bowl situation. Toaster fashion and fashion is the same, so just use the oven set to 450 if you want the fan on when roasting.
So my conclusion? This is a keeper. Food comes out great in all positions. The huge amount of infrared light thrown by the quartz tube in such a small gleaming oven provides great Browning, burning taste. Ultimately this is about food and the food comes out very tasty in this little gem.
We bought this toaster about two months ago, after much research. Our old one was a simple, inexpensive one from Sunbeam, which lasted about ten years until the lever for the toast.

Toast is very good: crispy on the outside and moist on the inside (but it depends on taste). One gripe is with buds that are difficult to obtain. The design of the grip is particularly annoying for hours because it just kind of image to the desired time, there is no way to just select the position, want a good stereo button. We have not really found the best place on the timer for the perfect toast, I have to rely on visual clues, and often just take the bowl before the timer rings.
The tray is easy to clean and slip out easily.
The hooks on the door hinge that allows racks to slide out making it difficult to close the door completely - we decided to put us in and not use them, so that the door closes properly.
Be careful when you buy this record, prices vary greatly from place to place, and you may be paying too much.
* PS: after 15 months with this toaster, we decided to buy a simple toaster to toast and use the B & D as a small oven for other dishes. The bread toaster is faster and results more reliable. As an oven, makes the B & D a good job.
